EXPLORING LITTLE INDIA

(Dress from Crayon Sg, Zara tasseled sandals, Young Hungry Free backpack)

A smorgasbord of colours, textures, and a whole other culture. Our day at Little India was definitely such a memorable and fulfilling day.

I couldn't believe how nice the shop owners were? They allowed us to take photos in front of their shops and even use their merchandise as props (see peacock feather shots). When these heels became a little too much for me to bear and I ended up squatting outside a shop to plaster up my toes, the shop owner extended their welcome to come in and use their chair (perhaps they were amused but still!).

Completely blown away with their insane hospitality. If you haven't been there to explore, I strongly believe you should. And the delicate hand embroidered umbrella costs less than S$20 which I was very surprised with. Not saying that I bought it, but I definitely would have if I had the place for it.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this little photo diary. Part II coming up soon.

PINK BOMB

(Bershka bomber jacket, Young Hungry Free top, The Editor's Market wide legged pants, H&M boots)

Some pre-hightea running around to snap some shots of this pink bomber jacket. Slightly cropped and a good thickness for the heat - which is of course important. I don't know what we stumbled across when we saw these cute little coloured houses, perhaps offices? But nonetheless it was too cute not to shoot in front of.

WHEN IT'S 8AM

Behind the scenes of a shoot I did with Gen K Jewelry, shot by my girl Jovita AngWaking up at 4am in the morning is all worth it when you get this amazing lighting at the beach. And big thanks to Fiona as well for dolling me up in the morning. If I could have this bronzy glowy makeup everyday, I would.

More official photos of the shoot will be coming soon! So excited to share with you guys! And watch out for our BTS video as well.

A CHANGE OF SHOES

(Wearing the exact same thing as the previous post but with a change of shoes - now wearing Superga sneakers)

I knew I couldn't continue walking on 6" platforms for too long so I swopped them out for something more practical (especially for balancing my food baby after the buffet dinner). Love these pink sneakers for its ability to be feminine yet mildly athletic. Also attracted to how they meld two seemingly incompatible textures together - pink textured leather and canvas. Shouldn't work, but it does.

Love this shot of Erman laughing. Warning: it might be contagious.
